INTRODUCTION

What is GNSS?

Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) refers to any satellite constellation, such as GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo, that provides worldwide positioning, navigation, and timing services.

GNSS often serves as the only viable option in areas without cellular or low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) coverage and is one of the few solutions for precise outdoor tracking of people, assets, or vehicles. In terms of precision, GNSS outperforms most other alternatives. 

GNSS has become essential in our daily lives as the world increasingly relies on location-based technologies. From asset tracking and turn-by-turn navigation to fitness, and beyond, the ability to pinpoint a person, place, or thing accurately is integral to most consumer and business applications.
